Major Lessons on Receiving

I am feeling so full of Love and Gratitude right now because I’ve recently learned such an important and powerful lesson on “Receiving” that I wanted to share in this blog. For the past 4-5 weeks I have been on this new journey of living my dreams and manifesting the life I see myself living. I’ve set my intentions daily, created goal lists, and even updated my vision board along with lightcasting for every new moon. I found myself saying alot of positive affirmations to support the energy around my dreams, and doing something daily to support this.

I ended up getting caught in this cycle of doing, doing, doing or creating and sending out the energy but I forgot about the receiving part. I sorta worked myself into a frenzy because I started to feel like I had to keep doing things in order to bring it into manifestation for myself. I started to feel like there was energy that was stuck and was not moving on my behalf anymore like a stoppage with all this momentum of energy behind it that I created but it wasn’t going anywhere. I woke up one morning and I just asked my guides, what should I do today? They clearly told me to leave the house and just have fun for the day, and take my mind off of everything else I had been doing. THey told me to pamper myself and do something fun. Little did I know that what they were trying to get me to do was to be in a state of “Receiving” If I could allow myself time away so that I could give to myself and nurture myself then I’d also be in a place to receive from others and the universe.

I didn’t really get this until I started reading a book called “The Seven Spiritual Principles” by Deepok Chopra. One of the principles is based on the Law of Giving and Receiving. In order to receive one must give and vice versa, you cannot have one without the other. Whatever you give always comes back to you energetically. I read this chapter twice and then realized, Ive been giving and giving and not receiving. So then I thought ok how can I get to a place of receiving. I want to test this out, and I thought about what I had to give from my heart with no strings attached. I knew if I gave something in this way I would surely receive it back a thousand fold. So I decided to offer healing sessions on a donation only basis to other students I went through Angel Therapy with to help them clear old blocks and step into their power.

After I decided to do this I noticed an immediate shift in my energy and knew that something had opened up. I realized that when I open up my hands to give space was immediatley created for me to receive. I then knew part of the receiving process was to just allow by not worrying and taking care of my own wellbeing. Often times we think we have to keep trying over and over to manifest things but the universe heard us the first time we even thought about what we wanted, its already created. We just have to get into a place of receiving. For me I do this by giving and sharing which allows me to focus on service, thus taking my mind of what I dont have or have not manifested. This allows the energy to create itself and it will come to me faster, I also realized the more I focus on just giving and sharing love the more I end up having to give. Its so cool, because whatever you give you receive back. If you want more love in your life, send out love and random acts of kindess. If you want more prosperity help others become prosperous by sharing your thoughts of wisdom. Help them by being a friend and really helping them by being in your own light and speaking your own truth. This allows others to give themselves permission to be in their own light and speak their own truth as well.

If your always focused on trying to manifest something then you never get still or open your hands to receive……I hope this makes sense….it does to me…LOL Getting out of your own way is Key and how you receive, or how I receive. I ask for something, pray or meditate on it. When I feel enough energy has gone out to the universe then I just ask the universe, my guides, and the Angels to show me evidence that it is on the way and that I am going in the right direction and I only expect to see this. I always get signs in one way or another as confirmation.

If you are reading this then you have already asked the Universe for something and now its time to receive. Say these words…Universe I am open and available to more good than I have ever experienced, realized or imagined..and say them as much as you feel the need to. Be available by being open and receiving. You can create whatever you want because you are a unique expression of the divine living as your human self, so whatever you asked for is already created and just a matter of time before you have it.

Today set your intentions to receiving all you have asked for. Start your day like this and then just sit back and watch things start to come to you that you may have asked for in the recent past and the more you allow and stay in this place the more will come to you. The more you give out the more will come to you……..the formula is so easy…..we just get caught up with fear which is only false evidence appearing real……it does not exist…..its fake. We do not have to know how something is going to happen, only exercise our power….and ask…for something…then get grateful….about your life and what you have now and take your mind off of it and receive it….

This week I am staying in a place of receiving and going to watch as the Universe floods my life with blessings, I ask you to challenge yourself to do the same thing……just say you know what….Ive asked enough…now its time for me to receive and just do it….say it….and watch the miracles unfold….
